New Appointments with a GP
There are two ways to book an appointment with one of our GPs:
Book Online:
You can book an appointment with one of our GPs via our website using the "Book Appointment" button. To find your prefered GP and see General Practitioners.
Book via phone:
You can request an appointme by calling the Clinic on (03) 9742 5148. We can help you book an appointment with a specific GP or next available appointment.
New Appointments with a specialist
An appointment is required to see a specialist such as podiatrist, dietitian, physiotherapist, diabetic educator, sonographer (ultrasound), or radiologist.
To make an appointment with a specialist, call (03) 9742 5148.
Pathology appointments not required
No appointment is required to see the pathology. Please attend during our opening hours and take a number to be seen.
Referrals
If you have a referral to see a specialist you will need to call to make an appointment.
Call (03) 9742 5148 to make an appointment with a specialist such as podiatrist, dietitian, physiotherapist, diabetic educator, sonographer (ultrasound), or radiologist.
Attending your Appointment
Refer to the following list when attending your appointment:
children aged 8 years and older who have a cold, fever or flu like symptoms must wear a mask whilst in the Clinic.
aim to arrive ahead of time to allow for traffic or unforseen delays.
ensure you have your Medicare card with you
ensure you have any Health Care Card, Pension Card, and DVA cards with you
International students must bring their AHM, Allianz, BUPA, Medibank or NIB OSHC membership card along with their school or university identification card.
Overseas visitors must bring their OVHC membership card along with photo identification.
Changing or cancelling your appointment
To change or cancel your appointment please call reception on (03) 9742 5148.
Patients that fail to attend their appointment or cancel their appointment with less than 2 hours' notice will be charged a fee of $27.50.
Billing
Wyndhamvale Health Care is a mixed billing clinic
Depending on your situation, part or all of your services will use may be bulk billed or out of pocket.
All out-of-pocket fees are to be paid at the time of appointment.

Bulk Billing is available to eligible patients
To be eligible for bulk billing patients must make an appointment and:
be aged under 16 years or
hold a valid and current Health Care Card or
hold a valid and current Pension card or
hold a Department of Veteran Affairs card
We are an appointment-based practice
All patients are requested to make an appoint.
Patients who do not have an appointment (walk-ins) will pay an additional fee.

Fees to see a Specialist
Some specialists such as podiatrist, dietitian, physiotherapist, diabetic educator, sonographer (ultrasound), radiologist, and pathologist may incur an out-of-pocket expense.
At the time of making an appoinment with a specialist you will be notified of any out-of-pocket expenses.
All out-of-pocket fees are to be paid at the time of appointment.

Pre-employment Medicals, VicRoads Medicals and Life Insurance Medicals
Pre-employment Medicals, VicRoads Medicals, Life Insurance Medicals are not covered by Medicare and will attract a fee.
All out-of-pocket fees are to be paid at the time of appointment.

International Students and Overseas Visitors
Patients who have AHM, Allianz, BUPA, Medibank NIB Overseas Student Health Cover, or NIB Overseas Visitor Cover will be required to pay consultation fees.
All out-of-pocket fees are to be paid at the time of appointment.
