Overseas Students

Overseas students who hold a current and valid BUPA, Allianz, AHM and Medibank Student Health Cover are requested to make an appointment at the Clinic, please call (03) 9742 5148.

Overseas students must attend their appointment with their OSHC membership card along with their photo identification.

Overseas Visitors

Overseas visitors with AHM, Allianz, BUPA and Medibank Overseas Visitor Cover are requested to make an appointment at the Clinic, please call (03) 9742 5148

Overseas visitors need to pay for their consultation on the day and follow up with their insurer for reimbursement.

Overseas visitors must attend their appointment with their OSVC memberhsip card along with their photo identification.

Telephone Enquiries

Wyndhamvale Health Care welcomes telephone enquiries. For any urgent enquiries for doctors are put directly put through to a doctor.

At all other times, our friendly staff will take a message and forward it to the doctor for a follow up.

Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions will not be written without a consultation. A consultation is needed to review your condition and medication. Please book an appointment with your GP or call (03) 9742 5148 to book an appointment.

Recall and Reminder Systems

Wyndhamvale Health Care nursing staff recalls all patients for abnormal test results or if the doctor wishes to discuss test results. Our practice has a policy of not disclosing test results over the telephone.

Wyndhamvale Health Care offers our patients a reminder service for a number of tests. These include, but are not limited to:

Pap smears
Immunisations
Blood tests
Blood pressure checks
Skin assessments

Interpreters

If you require an interpreter our reception staff will call the Translating and Interpreter Service (TIS) for over-the-phone assistance when you arrive at the clinic. If you require an on-site interpreter, you are able to bring a family member or friend into the consultation, or we can arrange an on-site interpreter with some notice.
